Switching to timetalk
Below you will find some useful information about just how easy it is to change your broadband to timetalk.
Any provider who operates on the BT network will provide you with a MAC code.
It is also important to find out which BT wholesale broadband product you have. In the majority of cases, it is either IP Stream or Datastream.
We can find this out for you if you experience any difficulties. All you need to do iscontact our Customer Service team on 0845 129 4432.

This code allows users to migrate from their existing broadband ISP to timetalk, without cancelling their active broadband line.

MAC codes are valid for up to 30 days and can only be used once. If you do not use a MAC code within 30 days, you will need to request a newcode from your current ISP.

All ISPs have to provide their customers with a MAC code, and as they are regulated by Ofcom, they have to ensure they act accordingly.

timetalk can switch you to the best line possible depending on the broadband speeds that are available to you, without opting for fibre optic broadband.
The broadband speeds you are able to receive depends on what your exchange can offer you, and this can vary from exchange to exchange.

If you wish to switch from your current ISP to timetalk there is no extra charge (as you pay the monthly fee which is agreed when you sign up to timetalk). Although, there may be a cost if a customer requires a new line with timetalk.

We will inform you that the switch over from your previous broadband supplier is complete and that you are a timetalk customer. You will receive a phone call from one of our account managers, and we will also send you a letter to confirm the final details.

It may take up to 10 working days to switch you over to timetalk.
